The UKCA marking is a product marking used for products being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales). It is a mandatory mark on a product to indicate that it conforms to GB legislation. The manufacturer or, if mandated, their authorised representative will be responsible for affixing the UKCA mark to the product, which is the same principle as CE marking but for the GB market. The UKCA marking applies to most products for which the CE marking could be used.
IMQ Certification (UK) Ltd is currently active in the below UK legislation:
UKCA demonstrates that certain goods are compliant with UK regulations and is used when these goods are placed on the market in Great Britain. It covers all goods which previously required the CE marking.
Please refer to the relevant product legislation to check whether your product requires a UKCA marking.
